Hey, did you know? Life started with fire. When the God Zeus created man out of clay, it was Lord Prometheus who gave us the gift of fire to separate us from the other animals. He liked our little arms and legs. He liked the way we danced. That's why he gave us the gift of flame.
Life is like a fire, you know. We start off small and weak- the gentlest of breezes wiping us out. But when we overcome the wind, we get stronger. Tougher. Everything around us gets sucked into our vortex of heat and light. But when the wick gets dangerously low, and the molten wax is about to cool, the flame flickers. Just for a second, it flickers. That's when we know it's almost time.
We flicker again. And again. And again, until we are once again weak and feeble. We, the flames, see a face looming closer, and closer. A giant face. The God Hades, perhaps, come to take our burning souls. Then, with a single puff of air from the giant lips, the flame dies out.
You have the ones who burn out completely on the first blow. But then again, there are always exceptions. What kind of miserable world doesn't have exceptions and miracles? The exceptions are the ones who burn out, but refuse to be snuffed out. The exceptions are the ones who's wick re-alights, and springs back to life again, ready to burn once more.
Flames of life. Flames of death.
This is how the world ended.

In the year 2427, the Earth was run by computers. Literally. There was no rich or poor. There was just technology. In 2434, the Great Human Rebellion happened. Human grew tired of being controlled by machines, and, in turn, rebelled against them.
Humans came out victorious. Destroying the Earth's main motherboard [S.U.N], there's no way they could have predicted the disastrous events following the destruction of the Earth's main core.
In 2435, the world was in chaos. Scientists had predicted a solar flare which would kill all of the Earth's population, as well as Mars' population [if there was a population on Mars, still had been undiscovered by 2400's.]
There was an order by the authorities to seal all children between the ages of 11-17 in 'Panoids'- large boxes built with the strongest material in the galaxy, and filled with a special substance that kept the body preserved. This order was made to save all children.
The solar flare happened, like predicted. Thousands of years later, the children of the Panoids are awakening on different parts of the Earth. With a goal from the past to re-build Earth's population, they stepped out into the world for the first time in thousands of years.
To their surprise, they were not the only humans who survived. A whole new race of humans were occupying the Earth, building cities out of burnt-down remains of skyscrapers, and getting water from wells deep below.
Determined on finding out what happened during their 3482 year long sleep, these young heroes from the past set out to find out about the solar flare that wiped out their time period. Could it be what they are looking for is what the New Earth Population [N.E.P] calls, ''The Ember Age''...?

(Blood Dupre X Reader)
Day Period had just started and you were walking around town, your (hair length) (hair colour) hair was swaying in the light breeze. You walked down the road and back through the small forest that led to the large black gates of the Hatter Mansion. You sighed outside the gates as you didn’t see the two identical twins on duty. “What the hell!” You heard a yell. Elliot was dragging the two boys towards you. “You little pip-squeaks are slacking again!” “Suck an egg, stupid rabbit! We were only off for one night period!” The twins said in

His hand was pressed against your cheek, holding it delicately.
You were never aloud in the garden of roses.
No one was.
So why was he being so nice when you interrupted him when you dashed through a bush of roses, your face, arms, and legs scratched and bloodied.
"Blood, I-"
He quickly shut you up when he placed his finger to your lips.
You gulped down your fear as you looked up at him, straight into his eyes.
Mistake? Maybe...Or maybe not.
He grabbed your arm roughly and brought you closer to him.
You hissed in pain, his gloved hand tightening around your wounds.
He smirked hearing your outburst, "you don't expect to walk through
